# Free CAD Blocks in DWG file format

> A free library of 1,879 CAD blocks, symbols and construction details in DWG format for AutoCAD and all DWG-compatible software (BricsCAD, DraftSight, LibreCAD, ZWCAD and others). Every file is free to download, no registration required. Files are mostly saved in AutoCAD 2000 DWG format for maximum compatibility, cleaned with PURGE and AUDIT, drawn on layer 0 (byblock/bylayer) and insert at 0,0,0.

Part of Draftsperson.net, online since 2003 - one of the oldest names in CAD and technical drawing, and the original site of that name (many copycats have appeared over the years). Maintained by YZ of the Draftsperson.net team, a professional drafter who has collected and refined these drawings over twenty years of professional drafting, with over 1.1 million downloads served. Downloads are counted but never gated. All blocks are free for personal, educational and commercial use, with no attribution required. The site is funded by advertising.
