A 12 pound bronze cannon (Model 1857 Napoleon) drawn in plan view with its labelled title – the smoothbore barrel on its two-wheel carriage with trail and spoked wheels, drawn from above at true proportions. The workhorse fieldpiece of the American Civil War.
