Description
A weld symbol legend pre-drawn at both 1:10 and 1:20 plot scales (with 2.5mm text), so you can paste the correctly-sized version straight onto a structural or fabrication drawing without rescaling. Each sheet carries the full welding-symbol vocabulary commonly used in Australia – the basic gas and arc symbols (fillet, bead, butt variants, plug, stud, surfacing), the resistance welding symbols (spot, seam, stitch, projection, flash and resistance butt) and the supplementary symbols (weld all round, contour finishes, weld on site, backing, tail for notes).
The 1:20 sheet also includes a “putting it all together” diagram that labels the arrow, reference line, tail, weld size and length so the whole symbol reads correctly.
