Description
Swept path turning templates for a 25 metre B-Double – three manoeuvres drawn from the design vehicle: a 180 degree turn, a 180 degree 'U' turn and a 90 degree turn, each showing the prime mover and both trailers tracking through the curve with the swept envelope outlined. A dimensioned vehicle schematic lists the tractor and trailer widths and tracks, steering angle, lock-to-lock time and articulating angle behind the templates.
Use them to test intersection geometry, site access, loading dock approaches and internal road design against the largest common Australian freight vehicle. A free DWG download for civil documentation.
