Description
A metric scale bar drawn as a dynamic block, graduated from 0 to 100mm with the note “scale is before reduction” – so a printed drawing always carries a true measuring rule even when the sheet is photocopied or reduced. Because it is a dynamic block you pick the drawing scale from a drop-down (1:1, 1:2, 1:5, 1:10, 1:20, 1:50, 1:100 and up to 1:2500) and the bar re-scales itself, rather than keeping a separate scale bar for every plot ratio.
Drop one onto every sheet next to the north point and titleblock; anyone measuring a print with a ruler can then read real-world dimensions straight off the bar. It suits site plans, floor plans, details and any drawing that may be issued at reduced size.
