Description
An Australian steel detailing chart – a single reference sheet gathering the dimensional data a detailer reaches for constantly. It tabulates the hot-rolled sections to Australian standards – Universal Beams (UB) and Columns (UC), Parallel Flange Channels (PFC), Taper Flange Channels and Beams (TFC, TFB) and Welded Beams and Columns (WB, WC) – giving depth, width, flange and web thickness, root radius, gauge lines and detailing dimensions for each size. Alongside the sections it carries high-strength (grade 8.8) and commercial (grade 4.6) bolt dimensions, hole gauges for angles, flat-bar size availability, recommended edge distances, pipe dimensions and the basic weld-symbol key.
Keep it on the drawing or in your title sheet as a ready lookup when detailing steel connections and members, instead of thumbing through the tables.
