A sub-soil drainage clear-out (flushing point) detail, drawn in section at 1:10, showing the riser that lets a subsurface drain be rodded and flushed clear. A 100Ø rigid PVC riser is bent up from the 100Ø sub-soil pipe – which is surrounded by blue metal and geotextile fabric – brought to the surface with a minimum 600mm cover, capped with a brass screw or light-duty cast-iron cover and anchored by a 400 × 400 concrete block. The notes place flushing points adjacent to and behind kerbs at a maximum spacing of 30m.

It is the standard maintenance access for a subsoil drain line, and this annotated detail gives you a reusable version to drop into your civil and stormwater drawings.
