Description
A temporary construction site entry and exit (shaker pad) detail for erosion and sediment control, drawn as two 3D alternatives. Both build a gravel pad of unbound pavement material over geotextile fabric across the site access, so mud is shaken off tyres before vehicles reach the road: alternative 1 uses a long gravel pad (15m minimum) with a berm, while alternative 2 adds a cattle grid set above the pad. In each case runoff from the pad is directed to a sediment trap and the pad meets the existing kerb and channel or new roadway.
It is a standard measure on erosion-and-sediment-control plans, and this annotated detail gives you a ready version to drop in and reference from your site plan.
