Description
A typical wall detail (type W4) drawn at 1:10, showing the eaves, gutter and base of an acoustically upgraded external wall built off an existing block wall. The section runs from a Lysaght gutter and timber fascia, across the Spandek roof edge with a blocking timber to stop the ceiling batts sliding, down through a 50 × 50 eaves vent, an existing stud frame re-lined with Bradford Soundscreen R2.5 batts and 13mm Gyprock Fyrchek, and Shadowclad Ultra Groove cladding on a permeable wrap to the cavity base closure over the block wall.
Each component is annotated with product names, sizes and finishing notes, so the sheet serves as a reference standard you can trace or adapt for renovation and acoustic-upgrade drawings. Insert it and tag the wall type where this eaves-and-base treatment applies.
The final sheet in a coordinated set with W1, W2 and W3 in the architectural details category. A free AutoCAD DWG download.
